Australian Adventure Group Holdings Pty Ltd (AAGH), a leading operator of iconic Australian tourism brands, today announced the successful acquisition of Discovery Tours Australia and Northern Experience Eco Tours, two of Far North Queensland’s most reputable tour operators.
AAGH currently owns and operates Adventure Tours Australia, Discovery K’gari Adventures, Dingo’s K’gari Adventures, and Territory Expeditions, with a proven track record of delivering unforgettable experiences across Australia’s most spectacular destinations. Guided by a highly experienced executive team, AAGH has built a reputation for innovation, sustainability, and unique guest-focused experiences. The addition of Discovery Tours and Northern Experience marks an exciting expansion into Far North Queensland, further strengthening the Group’s national footprint.
Founded in 2005, Discovery Tours Australia has become the region’s premier small-group tour provider, showcasing the Great Barrier Reef, Wet Tropics Rainforests, and Savannah Outback. With the acquisition of Northern Experience Eco Tours in 2019, the business expanded its portfolio, offering immersive half-day, multi-day, and extended expeditions. Renowned for its regional expertise, exclusive access permits, and passionate local guides, Discovery Tours has consistently earned strong demand from domestic and international travellers.
